Shakespeare's Tragedies

Following the success of Professor BC's Doppelgänger (#1 Boutique/Limited Release Trick of 2013, #6 Trick of the Year, 2013, The Magic Cafe) comes the next Doppelgänger book: Shakespeare's Tragedies.
Shakespeare's Tragedies is designed specifically to be the 'jewel in the crown' of the Doppelgänger  series.

This is a leather-bound, gilt-edged reproduction of the 1864 Tercentenary volume of the five tragedies performed in Stratford-upon-Avon in celebration of Shakespeare's 300th anniversary. The book features real Italian marbled endpapers, extraordinary embossing and debossing all along the goat-skin covers, and 475 pages that include the full texts of Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, and Macbeth. That's right: the full texts. You can read this book cover-to-cover (just as with the previous Doppelgängers) and never tip the method. Just ask any Doppelgänger owner: this claim is absolutely true.

Yes, Shakespeare's Tragedies works perfectly with the 2013 Doppelgänger releases and is intended to be included in the 'library' of Doppelgängers, so, yes, if you own any one (or all three) of the 2013 Doppelgänger titles, Shakespeare's Tragedies will fit seamlessly into your collection of this genuine any-book, any-page performance, and, yes, this book can also be used in conjunction with Professor BC's GH*ST (as can any of the Doppelgänger titles).

In addition to Shakespeare's Tragedies, you will receive the updated Doppelgänger Performance Manual with additional routines, handlings, and an all-new recorded performance script: ENOCH (written by 'Perkins'). This chilling performance features a cassette tape of the 'practice sermons' of a preacher whose life has been upended by the death of a parishioner who has left to him these extraordinary books--your spectators will actually experience the preacher's descent into Hell and damnation as they hold his books before them (recorded version available separately in a future accessory pack release). The ENOCH script encourages the use of at least four Doppelgängers and requires the Shakespeare's Tragedies Doppelgänger to perform properly.

(Note: The updated Performance Manual also includes many other very special treats and surprises and is available free of charge to all Doppelgänger owners whether you purchase Shakespeare's Tragedies or not.)

To ensure sufficient quantities for this offering, and to encourage new performers to enter the Doppelgänger world, this release is capped at 125 books rather than 100. Once these have sold, however, the Shakespeare's Tragedies Doppelgänger will be retired forever.

Note: The 'full Doppelgänger effect' is achieved only by use of any three titles; however, each individual book allows for a variety of performances, so any one title provides you with a bomb-proof book test. If this will be your first Doppelgänger (or second), rest assured that future titles are planned in the Doppelgänger series. Dickens' A Christmas Carol Doppelgänger is currently being produced and will be available for, when else? Christmas. There will also be releases (at least two) next year (2015) and again the year after (2016), so it is certainly not too late to begin your Doppelgänger library.)
